The ERROR summer School on ‘Dosimetry evaluation in pediatric ionizing radiation protocols with Monte Carlo techniques and anthropomorphic phantoms’ will be held in the Computer Lab I of the School of Medicine, University of Patras, May 30-31, 2019.

In order to have more interested researchers available to participate to the school there won’t be any registration fees to the school.

Kagadis has been accepted for publication in the premier journal of IEEE Transactions on Radiation and Plasma Medical Sciences on October 12, 2018

Project ERROR will participate in the European Researchers’ Night (NIGHT) (http://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions/about/researchers-night_en) on September 28, 2018 at the Chamber of Ahaia Prefecture. The Chamber of Ahaia Prefecture is located on 58 Riga Fereou st., 26221 Patra, Greece (more info at: http://www.e-a.gr).

The ERROR project is associated to the European Researchers’ Night event, an initiative of the European Union funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions.

We are happy to announce that our manuscript entitled: ‘A personalized, Monte Carlo–based method for internal dosimetric evaluation of radiopharmaceuticals in children’ by Panagiotis Papadimitroulas, William D. Dr. Panagiotis Papadimitroulas (BET Solutions) participated as invited speaker, in the seminar talks at McGill University (19 May, 2017 – Montreal), presenting “Moving to personalized Nuclear Medicine: An in silico perspective”. The abstract of his talk can be downloaded here.

University of Patras in cooperation with BET, gained access in the Greek HPC system named ARIS (https://hpc.grnet.gr). The MC-CANCEL project was awarded 100,000 core hours (6 months), to apply a set of MC simulations for the creation of a pediatric dosimetry database under project ERROR.

The mid term review meeting of the ERROR project will be held at University of Patras, on March 17th, 2017. The tentative agenda of the meeting is available on click (error_tentative_midterm_agenda). Representatives from all the beneficiaries, and the European Commission will be present.

The 1st one day meeting was organized under the ERROR project entitled “Medical Imaging in Pediatrics” at the University of Patras, Greece, on Saturday, December 17th, 2016. The agenda and the poster of the meeting are available on click (agenda_final, poster_final).
